Hello there! My name is Luca, and I’m a narrative designer and writer specialized in video game development. I’ve lived most of my life around Turin, Italy (you may have heard of us for the giuandiotto).
I’ve been working professionally in the game industry since 2022, since I joined Memorable Games to work on their upcoming open-world narrative mystery life-sim. I left the studio in April 2024.
I’ve studied communication, cinema, history, and literature. I speak English fluently and can babble in French (with tremendous effort).
More Stuff About Me
- I’m a TTRPG enthusiast. 90% of the time I’m playing as a Game Master (and sometimes I’m even as a player). Some of my favorites titles: Not the End, Troika.
- My favorite TTRPG setting is Warhammer 40,000. For the Emperor!
- I graduated with a thesis on adaptations of H. P. Lovecraft’s stories into video games. You can read it here in Italian.
- Among my favorite books are Gene Wolfe’s The Book of the New Sun, Gustave Flaubert’s Sentimental Education, and Robert L. Stevenson’s The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
- Once, I wrote an episode for a comic book anthology. The story wasn’t particularly good or well written and the volume is out of print. Still, I was 20 and it was my first story ever published on paper. Good job, 20 y.o. Luca!
